It took me a little while to find this film canister - I had paint around in these and cleaned one out. I originally got these in high school (~8 years ago) for the same purpose, and the paint that I had to clean out of this was still completely wet. If you don't have something like this handy and lying around, you can easily order them online from somewhere like Amazon.com.

It works like Tupperware or a paint can. Need something bigger? Most big box home improvement stores sell empty paint cans that will do the same thing.
